KEARNEY COMMUNITY THEATRE RENTAL INFORMATION
BUILDING RENTAL
Standard building rental is $1200.00 for your day’s event. SEATED CAPACITY: 150 guests.
Your rental includes the main floor of theatre, lobby, restrooms, green room, and stage.
PLEASE NOTE:
We recently installed new tables in our theatre and do not yet have photos. They are round cocktail tables, and not the rectangle tables in the photos. The tables work for h’ordeuvres or very small groups for dinner. Please contact us for an appointment to see the space.
SETTING A DATE:
Requests for reservation of the theatre may be filed up to 18 months in advance. KCT reserves the right to deny rental on the basis of show production scheduling, including set construction and performances.
BOOKING YOUR DATE:
At the time of final determination allowing rental of the facility, you will fully complete and sign the Kearney Community Theatre rental agreement contract and will provide a reservation/damage deposit of $500.00. Should you choose to cancel this contract, all of this deposit will be forfeited to Kearney Community Theatre. In the event of damage or unusual cleaning that has resulted from your negligence, all or part of this deposit may be retained by Kearney Community Theatre. Any balance of this deposit will be credited to the final balance due upon conclusion of the rental.

HOUSE ATTENDANT
Provided by Kearney Community Theatre and serves as a representative of the Theatre. This person is knowledgeable about the physical aspects of the Theatre and takes responsibility for opening the building and securing it after each function. If your require access to the facility prior to the event, this attendant must be present and additional fees will be charged.
LINENS
All tables must be covered. We do not rent linens, so you will need to obtain those off site.
NO ALCOHOL MAY BE BROUGHT ONTO THE PREMISES.
ALCOHOL:
Kearney Community Theatre holds a Class I liquor license and is bound by the applicable laws of the State of Nebraska Liquor Control Commission and the City of Kearney. Any alcohol consumption is directly under the control of Kearney Community Theatre and will be sold through the Theatre’s bar. If there are special requests, the bar manager will work with the renter to meet those needs. If alcohol is to be served, Kearney Community Theatre will retain all proceeds from the operation of the bar. No alcohol is allowed outside of the building. KEARNEY COMMUNITY THEATRE DOES NOT ALLOW OR PROVIDE KEG BEER.
The use of bubbles, confetti, or glitter, as well as any type of popcorn are all prohibited.
