2017 KCT Gala

An Invitation for Giving

In years past, KCT Patron’s Support has allowed us to do the following:

  • Expand and enhance the stage sound system
  • Purchase LED lighting for the stage and lobby
  • Enhance our Box Office computer systems and move to electronic ticketing
  • Demolish and replace the deteriorated paving on the north and immediate west side of the building
  • Clean up and landscaping of parking lot islands
  • Complete Lobby removation
  • Install new carpet in the Theatre
  • Install DMX and Digital lighting system

This year, we are looking to enhance the safety and efficiency
of our construction/storage area backstage.

The Santaland Diaries

Starring Pat Marlatt as Crumpett

Named Outstanding Production at the 2016 Nebraska Association of Community Theatres biennial festival, The Santaland Diaries will represent Nebraska at the American Association of Community Theatre’s Regional Festival in Minnesota in April 2017. Pat Marlatt also earned the Outstanding Actor Award at the Nebraska Festival. This production is directed by Pat Marlatt and his wife, Missy, in association with Beatrice Community Players. Mature Themes and Language.

Pat Marlatt has appeared in 5 KCT productions and 17 Community Players productions, most recently Chicago, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Harvey and Young Frankenstein. He has appeared in two other regional qualifying productions, The Brothers Grim Spectaculathon and Completely Hollywood (Abridged). Pat is a 2002 Kearney High School graduate who was active in Speech, Theatre, and Hockey, and is a graduate of Peru State. He currently works for BSDC. He and his wife, Missy, have two children: Nolan, 12 and Arihanna, 10.
